Embedded Container does not Split columns

I have a catalog item that I would like to change the layout within a Container (Use for hiding multiple variables at once).

For example I have Container 1 that is setup for single column format and I want to added a few variables, but with 2 columns set.
I thought I would be able to embed another container in the middle of this and have it display 2 columns, but this is not working.

From what I have found this doesn't seem to be supported, but cannot find anything in the documentation that states this.

I have attached some example of the Catalog variables and the output.   If anyone has an answer that would be amazing, but else if I can find some info to confirm that this does not work would be good too.

@Paul Ryder1 Is there any specific reason why you would like your Two column container to be a part of 1 column container? Can't the container 2 remain outside of container 1?

Hi Sandeep,

The customer is trying to replicate a form, which has mixed 2 and 1 column parts.

I'm trying to be lazy and be able to hide the parent container in on UI Policy instead of either the 20 or 30 variables or the 5 or 6 Containers.

I would have thought that the child container 'should' format as expected.

@Paul Ryder1 Unfortunately, the 1 column container will not be able to hold another container with two column layout.

@Paul Ryder1

you should use 2 column layout for better UI experience
