Frequent UI Changes Affect Usability of Learning and Documentation

Hi,

From my perspective, the Documentation and Learning pages should minimize frequent UI changes, as these pages effectively serve as specifications that engineers rely on for reading, tracking, and reference. Consistency and familiarity are important to support efficient learning and navigation.

I have only been working with ServiceNow for about six months, yet during this time the UI of both pages has changed repeatedly. Beyond the learning curve required for each new interface, the overall usability has become increasingly problematic.

The responsive behavior has noticeably degraded: the main content area is often overly constrained, while sidebars cannot be collapsed or hidden, which significantly impacts readability. On some screen sizes, this makes the interface difficult to use.

I strongly encourage the team to prioritize the primary content, using a clear, simple interface and optimizing the layout for reading and comprehension.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

The sidebar thing is very frustrating.
