How do I ask a question in the Community?

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the ServiceNow Community itself.

Maybe it's just me, but nowadays it seems near to impossible in choosing a Location, Forum, Category etc. There are hundreds of choices and they are nestled in a hierarchical structure, and they are MANDATORY. I never know what to choose, where to find it, what effect it will have on my post being searchable, findable etc. I click up and down and around, and finally just choose what seems to be a best guess.

Again, maybe it's just me. Or is there a course, video, learning path or something that helps you understand how to categorize here in the community? Something like a "ServiceNow Community for Dummies"...

thanks, hoping for some guidance  /Tommy
