In This Blog we will cover how to add Bar Charts and Donut Charts on your mobile app in the most simple way.

I have used NOW Mobile app in this example.

I have used Studio to work on the Mobile App.

Lets first create these reports

1) On the Studio -> Create Application File -> Reporting -> Report

Create a Bar Report and make sure to share it to the right set of people who should be able to see the report on the app. For this example i have created the 2 reports below and shared it with Everyone

Create Dashboard Previews

2) On the Studio> Click on Dashboard Previews -> Create New

find_real_file.png

Select the reports created in step 1 above.

If you have an applet and you want to direct to the applet when one clicks on the report then you can select the applet in the Navigation Drop down

In this example I am using the 'Auto-Create associated Navigation and Applet' to keep it simple.

Now both my dashboard Previews are ready

Add them to the Dashboard on Homepage

On the Applet you want to add this, just add a new ui section as shown below

PS. You have to change the section Type to Chart for the dashboard Previews you Create to show up.

End Result :

SN Docs Link for the same

Donut reports for mobile | ServiceNow Docs

Hope this helps

I've created a mobile dashboard with a donut that shows unassigned tickets (i.e. incidents, change, requested item).  I want the associated list to come up when selecting that portion of the donut.  How do you configure that?

Thanks
