With the Now Platform® Zurich release, we're doubling down on our commitment to delivering a smarter, more intuitive mobile experience. This release brings forward key innovations designed to supercharge agent productivity and unlock powerful AI-driven experiences through Now Assist.
Here's are highlights coming for ServiceNow mobile in Zurich release:
- Improved error handing for uploads manager
- Use the improved error handling in the upload manager to confirm that the necessary files are uploaded successfully to improve reliability and give users more control:
- Retrying failed uploads instantly—no need to start over.
- Replacing files without deleting—just swap in the new version.
- Breadcrumbs for failed uploads show exactly where things went wrong, so users can fix issues fast.
- Camera backups keep your photos safe during upload—no more lost files.
- Source tracking shows where each file came from (Camera, Gallery, etc.) for better control and troubleshooting.
We’ve redesigned input forms to make them easier to use and more intuitive:
- With Contextual guidance: Descriptive cards now provide context for each section, so users know exactly what’s needed.
- Page navigation: Users can jump between pages freely, even if some fields are incomplete. A new page menu shows progress and lets users go directly to any page.
- Intuitive number entry: Sliders make it simple to enter numeric values, with customizable ranges and defaults.
ServiceNow Lens: This will allow users to snap a photo or upload an image. Lens can analyze it, extract key text, and even compare documents side-by-side, and can even provide you resolution steps on how to fix or solve something
DocQnA: This is a new capability that will let you upload any document or FILE —like a contract, manual, or report—and get instant summaries or answers based on its content
Skill Kit integration: you can now add AI-powered summaries directly into your mobile input forms. Previously, only field service management customers could auto-summarize closure notes—but now, you can build your own skills to summarize: work notes, Comments, Incident descriptions, Change risk explanations. No need to wait for a different business unit to build and release it —you are now in control. Just plug in your custom Skill Kit summarizer and let Now Assist do the work.
