Configure AI voice agent in end user portal

Hi,

I am trying to configure AI voice agent in our end user portal by referring to this video but when following the Servicenow docs (link below), it is asking for telephony provider. But I dont want to setup AI voice agent when call is received but on click of widget as shown in the video.Any guidance or document link will really help to proceed.

A year ago this was sci-fi, now you can actually talk to your Help Desk AI-agents instead of typing to clunky chatbots or waiting forever for someone to pick up your call. Trust me, this is about to be everywhere 🚀 #servicenow You can learn more at https://voice2me.ai/

If you're launching the AI voice agent directly from a portal widget rather than handling incoming phone calls, you may not need a full telephony setup. Most ServiceNow documentation focuses on telephony-based call routing, which is why it asks for a telephony provider. If your goal is a widget-based AI assistant, check whether the video is using a different configuration or a newer feature than what's documented. We use Hello22 AI  for web-based AI voice interactions without relying on traditional telephony for every use case, so it's definitely possible depending on your implementation. Hopefully, someone who has configured the widget-only approach in ServiceNow can share the exact steps.
