We're exploring options for delivering company Town Halls through ServiceNow Employee Center Pro and would love to hear from anyone who has implemented something similar.
Our goals are:
- Promote Town Halls using EC Pro content management (banners, announcements, events, etc.)
- Allow employees to join a live Webex Town Hall from EC Pro
- Ideally display the live stream directly within an EC Pro page
- Provide access to the recording afterward from the same location
A few questions:
- Has anyone successfully embedded a live Webex Town Hall or Webex Event directly in Employee Center Pro?
- If so, what approach did you use (iframe, embed code, custom widget, portal page, etc.)?
- Were there any issues with CSP, X-Frame-Options, authentication, or other browser/security restrictions?
- If embedding wasn't possible, did you simply link out to Webex, or did you use another platform such as VBrick or a video-hosting solution?
- Are there any best practices or architectural recommendations for supporting both live viewing and recorded playback?
Any screenshots, lessons learned, or examples would be greatly appreciated.
