Does anyone know how Opt in & Opt Out work in Notify (We use it for calling/SMS)?

I am configuring notify for SMS. I need to understand how Opt in & Opt out works. The idea here is to enabling Opt in & Opt Out functionality for end users.

Hi -

Opt-out Keywords - These keywords are configured to prevent the customer from Receiving SMS. If you are receiving SMS already and you want to stop this, so, you can use any keywords you are mentioned in Opt out Keywords. So no SMS will be received by them. Ex: if you reply to SMS with "STOP", no SMS  will be received by you.

Opt-Out Message: once you enable Opt-out, these customized messages will be displayed

Opt-in Keywords - These Keywords are configured to resume your receiving the SMS notification. Ex: by replying "Start" it will enable you to receive the SMS which you have stopped

 

Basically, these features are aligned and worked with CTIA program regulation based on the geography,

note: I see, in your SS, the Opt-out message should be otherwise. " Your msg has been disabled" . by default preference, you have given Opt-out, so USer will not receive any SMS. They need to start giving Opt-in keywords configured to receive messages.
