How to add the activity stream for custom tables

Hello everyone,

I have created an applet for my custom tables. I have created a new field Additional comments as my table is not a child table from task. I have added it in my activity inside my form.

But when I try to add comments from the agent application mobile in the activity stream, I got an error, and I can't add any additional comments. I got the error failed to add additional comments

I have been able to add comments if I create a function but not from the activity stream. Does anyone know where my error is?

Hi Hamza,

In my case the fields in particular were part of a new scoped application. Since it was a scoped application then no u_ was needed. (this is only when creating the fields in Global) 

So this was not an issue at the time, but indeed it needed the field names without u_.

I am getting the same error when I am adding comments on custom journal field(u_comments) from function(button) which I have created.

How you managed to add comment to custom journal field from function?

comments  from activity stream are updated on Additional comments(comments) field.

I guess you are not using Custom Additional Comments field 

OR may be Additional Comments are not in your Activity Stream which is on your form.
