How to create custom type apps

Hello.

We recently got CSM Pro and Mobile Publishing and we have an edge use case to build a custom type mobile app for a specific department. So not Branding or customizing the NOW or Agent App. We want to build a 3rd App. I think this features is new and I really don´t understand where to start building this App. Everywhere I go I only can change the existing apps or brand them.

Anyone can guide me where to start?

Hello,

You may try using the Mobile App Builder and create new App, specify the App Scope & if required you can integrate with CSM features as well.

For UI, there are Mobile experiences like Mobile Dashboards, Lists or Forms.

Add security using dept specific roles with supplementary ACLs as required.

Finally, you may use Mobile Publish option & verify as end user.

The above steps are for quicker configuration but there is also Mobile Studio for configs of UI elements if needed.

Hi Akash.

I requested a new app with mobile publishing but there I just had to add an Icon. Where do I then configure the app. Is there a Menu to select this app and customize it?

So I eam really searching the entry point where to create a completly new app and then publish it. In mobile publishing I just can select Mobile or Agent and then add icon,...etc.
