Restrict Access to 'Now Mobile - InTune' App only with pre-authorisation user redirect message for other App versions

 

Hi Team,

 

Please could someone help advise me how I can achieve this in my ServiceNow PDI / on my Client's Instance.

I assume it is straight forward, but not sure how to configure this.

 

I need Users to only be able to download and access the 'Now Mobile - InTune' version of the Now Mobile App.

 

If Users try to download and access any other versions of the mobile app (eg Now Mobile Agent, Now Mobile Support etc), I want them not able to access/download these.

 

I also need a Redirect Link and Message - a message that tells the Users to download the 'Now Mobile - InTune' version of the App, and directs users to download the correct version (Now Mobile - InTune) in the Apple Store, with an appropriate redirect message.

 

I am assuming this can be done via some combination of a Script (s) and perhaps Pre-authorisation and UI Messages and Mobile properties.

 

I would really appreciate any guidance, if anyone has had to configure this before and confirmation it works on your PDI would really help reassure me.

Hello Warwick,

 

If your user does not want to access non intune applications downloaded from the playstore, pls do as instructed in the link,

only thing you have to change in step#7 is, copy this below and give this as value. this will restrict users from loggin to  all non intune mobile apps

com.servicenow.intune.requestor,com.servicenow.requestor.mam.intune,com.servicenow.intune.fulfiller,com.servicenow.fulfiller.mam.intune

I really appreciate this.

 

I will try out this configuration on my PDI and Client's instance, in order to get the functionality working.

 

I will revert with a further reply and confirmation, once I have had a chance to configure this and get it working.
