Entites not showing in the entity type while updating the entity filter

In entity filter there are matching records as shown in the screenshot but even after clicking on the update entities no entities are getting populated in the entity section of the entity type as shown below.  User is able to view and click the "'Update Entities from filter" but no entities are being shown.

  1. is the entity type record Active?
  2. is the lack of update from entity filter to entity type also observable for other entity types on the instance? (both in adding but also removing entities)
  3. is the BR "Update Entities for Entity Type" active and OOTB (unmodified)?

Please find my below comments:

 

1. is the entity type record Active? Yes
2. is the lack of update from entity filter to entity type also observable for other entity types on the instance? (both in adding but also removing entities) : Yes adding and updating entities both these functions are facing issues for all entity types
3. is the BR "Update Entities for Entity Type" active and OOTB (unmodified)? Yes BR is active and OOTB is unmodified

Check  read ACL and its role on table cmdb_ci_service_auto. Check if that user is having that ACL role.

I checked and found that there is 3 table name cmdb_ci_service_auto in both PROD and UAT. Found that 2 roles user is missing in prod as he has it in UAT . 
Roles are : 

sam_core_user, (2nd table )

sn_dpm.dpm_manager (3rd table)
