Policy Exception Questionnaire

Hello,

I was wondering how I can trigger a Policy Exception Questionnaire.  I have created the Questionnaire in the Exception Questionnaires, but what do I do next to trigger them and now do I see that on the Policy Exception?

Thanks,

M.

Hi @Mehernosh Amrol

To create a policy exception record and assign a questionnaire in ServiceNow, first navigate to All > Policy and Compliance > Policy Exceptions > Policy Exception. Then, click New to create a new exception record. Fill in the required fields, including a name, reason, and applicable policy. Next, create an exception questionnaire by navigating to All > Policy and Compliance > Policy Exceptions > Exception Questionnaire and clicking New. Define the questions for the questionnaire within the Assessment Metric Type form, including name, assessment duration, table, scale factor, and other relevant details. Save the questionnaire record, and then assign it to the policy exception record using the related list. The related list will allow you to associate the questionnaire with the newly created exception record, triggering the assessment process.

Hi @Mehernosh Amrol

To trigger an exception questionnaire and see it on a policy exception, you need to create a Policy Exception record and then assign the questionnaire to it. You can then view the completed questionnaire within the Policy Exception record.

Here's how to do it:
  1. 1. Create a Policy Exception:
Navigate to the Policy Exceptions module and create a new record.
  2. 2. Assign the Questionnaire:
On the Policy Exception record, there will be a field or section to associate an Exception Questionnaire with it.
  3. 3. Trigger the Questionnaire:
Once the Policy Exception record is saved, and the questionnaire is assigned, the questionnaire will be triggered and available to be completed.
  4. 4. View the Questionnaire:
You can then navigate back to the Policy Exception record and view the completed questionnaire (if it has been completed).

I've created the Assessment, but I am unable to add it to the Related list.  Which Related List should I add to see the assessment?

Thank you.
