Choices are not showing in the custom field

Hi Team,

 

I have a custom field type is choice. I have created 4 choices(English, French, Germany and Dutch). 

when I go to custom field in choices it is only showing English, Remaining it is not showing

  1. If your instance is set to English and you can only see "English" as a choice while the others (French, German, and Dutch) are not visible, it is likely due to the language settings of the choices.
  2. By default, choices are tied to specific languages. For example:
  • A choice with language = fr will only be visible when the instance is in French.
  • A choice with language = de will be visible when the instance is in German, and so on.

To make all choices visible regardless of the instance language, update the Language field for each choice and set it to "en" (English).

For example:

Hello @Gopal14 

1. For your choice, if you change the language field for other languages to "en", you can see all choices in that field

2. To resolve above issue you have to follow Servicenow docs link, download and install Localization Framework Installer

if logged in user language is English it will show choices from English

Did you check with some other user having French language?

You will have to configure the choices in French language as well in sys_choice table.
