Difference between AI search in next experiance and agent assist search?

I am looking for fundamental differences between AI search and agent assist search in workspaces.

I tried search for kb article in both places AI search gives me more accurate results than agent assist search, want to know the difference on the way the search is performed.

Agent assist provides agents with automatic search results that show possible solutions for records they open. Configure Agent assist in Configurable Workspace by configuring a record page with a Glide form data source and a Contextual Sidebar.
