Workspace Reference Field in Blank - Vancouver Version

Greetings!

 

People, I have to create this Workspace using the App Engine Studio and we have to use a couple of Referenced Fields. We have tested the Workspace in Utah version, and everything is working fine, but now that we are using the Vancouver version we are facing problems with the Reference Field. It loads the field filter when I use the "Search for Record" button, but when I choose the record it doesn't load the text in the Reference Field as printed bellow:

Any Reference Field remains blank after trying to select the Reference Record.

This error was reproduced in the PDI Vancouver version where no system configuration was made or changed.

Is anybody else facing the same error?

A help would be much appreciated!

Reference fields do not work when duplicated the Record SNC variant in Service Operations Workspace UI Builder

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open UI Builder
2. Service Operations Workspace UI builder page
3. Page> Record
4. Duplicate Record SNC (template)
5. Go through the entire page and set up event handlers to mirror the Record SNC events (page and data resources)
6. Inactivate Record SNC (readonly template)
7. Activate duplicated record variant
8. Open Service Operations Workspace
9. Create an interaction record or open an existing record
10. Click on the magnifying glass on any reference field

 

Workaround
As of Tokyo the legacy record template is no longer supported. The recommendation is to build a new variant for the record page using the Standard Record template.

 

NOTE: Creating a new variant falls under customization and ServiceNow is not liable for any issues related to the custom variant. 😕
