My query here is
Similar functionality already exists for Incidents; this enhancement aims to provide consistency for RITMs.
The section should display only open (active) RITMs requested by the same caller.
Closed, cancelled, or completed RITMs should be excluded from this view to avoid clutter and improve relevance.

it comes from a UI macro added to that field in dictionary.
See the UI macro and enhance for your RITM table's field.
-> see this OOTB caller_id dictionary entry, using ref_contribution you can add macro besides reference field
