MCP Server new tool added is not seen by the MCP Client

I have created an MCP Server with the quickstart tool incident lookup and incident summarization.

 

Everything is cool, our MCP Client can talk to the MCP Server. 

Now we added few new tools in the MCP Server and the MCP Client cannot seems to find the new tools. 


I did an experiment and created a new MCP Server with the new sets of tools and only then did the MCP Client see it. 

 

Is this normal?

This is probably the worstly develop application of ServiceNow that I know to date. Even the basics do not work. NowAssist is definitely not enterprise-ready and so far out that what they present.
