i have activated the chat summarization skill, but its now working

the skill is active, but not working, 

i have followed the proper steps

What issue are you facing can you please tell in brief 

@Aditya_hublikar I have activated the chat summarize skill and when i tested, the chat summarize is not working. and throwing a error

Hi @dhivyal94299399,

Based on your screenshot, the Chat Summarization skill is active, but the banner message indicates

"Chat summaries won't appear until your IT administrator completes all the required steps involved in the setup."

This usually means the skill has been activated, but one or more prerequisite configurations are still incomplete.

Please verify the following

  1. Now Assist entitlement/licensing is active for your instance.
  2. Azure OpenAI / Generative AI Controller connection is configured and validated.
  3. The required Now Assist plugins and dependencies are installed.
  4. The appropriate roles are assigned to the users accessing the chat.
  5. Chat Summarization is enabled for the specific workspace/channel being used.
  6. Navigate to the View setup link shown in the banner and verify whether any setup tasks are still pending.

Also check Now Assist Administration > Setup


and review any incomplete setup tasks or health checks.

 

If all setup steps show as complete, checkSystem Logs > All

 

for errors related to Generative AI, Now Assist, or Azure OpenAI connectivity.

I contacted ServiceNow Support to resolve the issue.
The problem has been resolved by adding the function-getCapabilityName definition for Script Include > GenAIPreprocessor.

The contents of Line 37 in "Now LLM Integration" in the subflow - Action 19 have also been revised below.
