Semantic indexing in AI search

Hello Community,

I am currently working on configuring semantic search in AI Search for my ServiceNow instance. I have already configured the semantic configuration in the index source. However, even after this, the results are still appearing as lexical search results rather than semantic results.

I wanted to check if there is anything else I might be missing in the configuration process. Other than configuring the semantic configuration in the index source, are there any additional steps or settings required to ensure that the search results are processed semantically?

If anyone has faced a similar issue or can provide guidance on this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @varshalahan

I have the same issue, I cannot see how I can enable semantic search. I checked this doc, but this does not really help: Semantic vector search in AI Search
I want to use semantic search on the incident table.

Update: here is more info: Semantic index configuration for indexed sources
You need Now Assist for this to be activated:
"This plugin is automatically activated for your instance when you install any Now Assist application."
