Unable to Find "Request Instance" Button on Developer Site

Hi ServiceNow Community,

I’m trying to request a free developer instance on the ServiceNow Developer site, but I’m unable to find the "Request Instance" button. I’ve followed the usual steps:

  1. Logged into my developer account.

  2. Navigated to the "Manage" > "Instances" section.

However, the option to request a new instance is not visible. I’ve also tried:

  • Clearing my browser cache and using different browsers (Chrome, Firefox).

  • Checking my profile and instance management pages.

  • Ensuring that I don’t already have an active instance (I’ve released any previous instances).

Could this be due to a recent website update, or am I missing something? Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Hi @yuans

According to a message on the dev site, there's currently unscheduled maintenance of PDIs going on:

This issue is likely also disrupting requests for new instances. Unfortunately, your only option is probably to wait until this issue to be resolved.

Hi,

has the issue been resolved? Currently the "Request Instance" button does not seem to work.

I can click it, but then nothing happens.

Kind regards

Update: While I looked for answers and wrote my reply - the "Request Instance" button became responsive again 🙂 and I could request a PDI.
