Hi All,

What kind of Integrations or Discovery is there with "Telecommunications Network Inventory" to populate the CMDB data,

Our client is expecting to populate the Telcom related inventory to be integrated with ServiceNow and I am new with "Telecommunications Network Inventory" implementation

Could you please provide me the list of OOB integrations available Plugins or Spokes

What kind of questions we can ask the customer for implementation 
Please share the relevant documents or youtube links

Hi @Shantharao You can perform discovery using below option:

 

 

  • ITOM Discovery
  • Service Graph Connectors (SGC)
  • IntegrationHub ETL
  • Custom REST/SOAP integrations

Points to check and collect the data: 

 

 

  • What is the current source of truth for telecom inventory?
  • What inventory needs to be integrated (physical/logical)?
  • Are APIs available (REST/SOAP/DB)?
  • Is topology/relationship mapping required?
  • Which system should be authoritative for CMDB updates?
  • Approximate number of devices/services?
  • Is real-time sync required?

Hi @shubhamseth 
Thank you for your response, do you have real time experience on the "Telecommunications Network Inventory" space, actually I am new to ITOM and TNI implementations.

Have you implemented any real-time integration with CMDB, if yes what kind of devices/services you have populated in to the CMDB classes

Do we have any OOB SGC or Spokes available to integrate with the network infrastructure  
I couldn't see ay relevant plugins in my PDI
