I am trying to create a dashboard for home page. When i go to self-service -> dashboard, i am not allowed to create a dashboard. Please suggest what should i do. Attached the dashboard page for reference.

Users with any role can create dashboards, share dashboards that they own with users and groups, and edit dashboards if they have been given edit permissions. Users with any role can restrict access by role to any dashboard that they have created. The user also needs whatever roles are necessary to access the specific data on the dashboards.

I am having an admin role but still i am not able to create dashboards. If you refer my screenshot(attached) i dont see an option to create dashboards.

All roles can technically create dashboards in standard ServiceNow Now Intelligence (formerly Performance Analytics) environments. Having any internal role enables dashboard creation, sharing, and editing, provided the user also has access to the underlying data shown on the dashboard.
However, in Platform Analytics (Workspaces) and similar modules, specialized roles exist:
pa_admin and pa_power_user roles can create and edit dashboards.
pa_viewer can view dashboards.
Additionally, users with the dashboard_admin role, typical in Platform Analytics can create, edit, delete, and certify all dashboards.
Please identify your module, Are you working in the standard Now Intelligence/Dashboard Builder or within Platform Analytics Workspace?
