Does AI Control Tower inventory for governance different on platform LLM Virtual Agents?

AI Control Tower seems to automatically identify the Agentic workflows but not Now Assist LLM Virtual Agent the best I can tell. I've been through every documented table, CMDB and Asset, that I can find reference to. It does find the Agentic Workflows and such fine.

 

I have spent many hours now and hoping for community insights.

 

When I go to Virtual Agent Designer > LLM, I see what I'd expect as "Assistants", I see our various virtual agents using Now Assist.
When I look at Now Assist Admin dashboard, it shows Assist usage associated to Virtual Agents.

 

If it doesn't automatically inventory these for some reason, how would one model the logical virtual agents: Would it be an AI Function (cmdb_ci_function_ai) because its not on-prem?

Manually create cmdb_ci_function_ai records for each Now Assist LLM Virtual Agent, relate them to their parent Business Service and Now Assist Skills, then validate visibility in AI Control Tower's inventory scope. Submit an HI ticket in parallel to confirm whether ServiceNow intends to add auto-discovery for this class in a future release.
