Hi:
What does this #18 (missed chats) represent? What missed chats? How do I clear it?
When I open I see 9. What does that 9 represent? And how do I clear it?
Thank you, Rita

Hi
- The Now Assist panel displays chat history in sections for active and closed chats. Active chats are shown in the "Active chats" section, and you can create new chats using the "+" icon. Closed chats are listed separately; selecting a closed chat lets you view its history in read-only mode. If more than four closed chats are available, a "Show more" link appears to display additional chats. You can permanently delete closed chats by using the delete icon and confirming the deletion.
- Chats are organized with the most recent conversations at the top. Unread chats or notifications are indicated by a badge number and a red dot. If you switch to a new chat while another is ongoing, a pop-up message confirms your previous chat was saved, allowing you to revisit past chats and continue active ones.
- The chat history table is managed by the Conversations (sys_cs_conversation) table, and closed chats remain available as long as they exist in this table. The inactivity timeout for active chats (default: 2 hours) can be configured in the Messaging Channels (sys_cs_channel.list) table.
Regards
RP

Hi RP:
I am not seeing a delete chat option. Is that a property that needs to get activated or something?:

I would recommend first activating the enhanced chat feature first. The new interface automatically clears unused chats https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/zurich-intelligent-experiences/page/administer/now-assist-pla...
