Now Assist for sc_task

I need to add a custom ITSM skill for Now Assist on the sc task table, similar to Incident features like summarization and email recommendation. However, when I copy the Incident skill, modify it for sc task, and activate it, the Incident summarization skill gets automatically deactivated.

Additionally, even after activating the sc task summarization skill, I am unable to see the Summarize button on the sc task record.

Is there any supported way to enable similar Now Assist functionalities for sc task? I would also like to confirm the feasibility of implementing these features on sc task.

Hi @yokeshraj ,

Instead of copying the existing skill, please create a new custom skill from scratch. When a skill is copied, the backend tables still reference the Incident table, which can lead to incorrect behavior.


I done that from scratch also but it's still showing OOTB only ,but the issue is even though its getting activated(my custom one for sc task), Inside Now assist  the testing part was working but when I activate that , the button is not visible.

My problems are

1. Can't implement any Now Assist functionalities on sc task(If there is any docs for that implementation it will be useful)

2. Even though skills has been created from scratch, its showing out of the box  only
