Now Assist in AI search

Hello All -

 

I have enabled Now assist for AI search, but my bad whenever i perform search, it is does not summarizing the knowledge  content, rather it bring and populate the Catalog.

I tried troubleshooting by indexing the knowledge article.

Ex: Expected -- > When i search for VPN access needed , Result should be 

1. VPN access....

 

but what is happening is , when i search for VPN , then Now assist is suggesting a VPN request Catalog.

Hello @PaulSylo ,

 

After enabling the AI search please check below :

1. All -> AI Search -> AL Search Applications

Make sure the default search engine is using the "AI Search" instead of Zing.

2. In the Search Profile in last column of attached image e.g. "ESC Portal Default Search Profile", Make sure in the search Source section the required search source is added which returns the Knowledge Articles.

In addition to confirming that your search sources include Knowledge, make sure your Genius Results tab is configured (under the search profile) and this will have an order.  Now Assist Q&A will include knowledge and you can sort that first.  Now Assist Actions will include Service Catalog.
