Now Assist - Self Learning?

Hi all, I have a quick and maybe basic question. Does Now Assist learn over time, so will it eventually give better answers to users queries within Virtual Agent conversations or within the Service Portal AI Search?
I know that within one virtual agent conversation the user can ask multiple queries and Now Assist will use information from previous questions/answers to give a better new answer.

The answer is either Yes or No. When I say Yes, it means we need to educate our users. Whenever a user is using Now Assist and receiving any output or result, they must use the up or down thumbs to provide feedback to the system. Believe me, we tried this, and our results have improved since. This way, Now Assist learns by itself. Otherwise, we as developers need to improve it by continuously training it and providing more data

Is their any official documentation which supports that? I could not find any myself and need a concrete answer for some stakeholders
