Hi Team,
We have integrated Servicenow Virtual Agent with microsoft teams long back.
Currently whenever a user requests a catalog item or performs an action from the virtual agent in Teams, the conversation redirects the user to Service Portal/Employee Portal to complete the request.
Our client requirement is to keep the entire experience within Microsoft Teams . Users should be able to provide all required inputs, submit it & receive confirmation without being redirected to any portal or anywhere.
Can anyone please provide me the steps to configure this along with documentation/KB's.
Thanks,
Satish

Hi @Vamsi_Krishna07 ,
Thanks for sharing the information and documentation.
I am relatively new to Virtual Agent and would like to understand the overall solution approach better.
Thanks

Hi @ChittiS ,
Step 1: 1 a. Navigate to "Assistant Designer"
1 b. Open and Edit "Now Assist in Virtual Agent (default)"
1 c. In the Information Sources tab, add all relevant Search Sources associated with Catalog Items and Knowledge Bases. This serves as the primary data source for the Virtual Agent, enabling it to leverage your organization's content effectively.
For example, if an end user types "I need a laptop" in Microsoft Teams, AI Search uses these configured sources to retrieve and present the most relevant information, such as catalog items, knowledge articles, and related resources.
If the laptop request catalog item is conversationally enabled and does not contain unsupported variables, such as multi-row variable sets, the Virtual Agent can seamlessly guide the user through the request process directly within Teams.
1 d. Once it's done please set up other sections like Knowledge Graph etc. Every section has it's own importance please refer to docs.
Step 2: Topic Migration: If you want to migrate any of your legacy virtual Agent NLU topics to LLM topics, then use this option, which is available on Overview tab.
Step 3: Explore the out-of-the-box (OOTB) topics available and activate those that align with your organization's requirements. In the Asset Library, switch the assistant to "Now Assist for Virtual Agent (Default)" and review the available OOTB topics.
For example, "Show Pending Approvals" is a built-in topic that displays all pending approvals assigned to the user, allowing them to approve or reject requests directly from the Virtual Agent experience without navigating to the platform. Activate or promote the topics accordingly.
Please, let me know if you have any questions. Also may I know your instance version/patch?
Thanks!

Thanks @Tanushree Maiti For sharing, but my requirement a bit different.
I just want to keep the entire experience within Microsoft Teams, Instead of redirecting them to any portals.
Could you please guide me the steps to configure where I can achieve this requirement or provide any relevant KB which is associated to this issue?
Or else, please do let me know if you come across similar kind of issues.
Thanks,
Satish
