So I was just playing with the Next Experience UI on my PDI and I was trying to replicate something I did on UI16 where I added a menu item to the User Menu. This was easily done on UI16 by modifying the UI Macro "concourse_user_menu" but this UI Macro doesn't seem to exist any more. I've had a look through some of the documentation and couldn't see much about this change.
Does anyone know how you would customise the User Menu on the Next Experience UI?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think customizing the header or user menu is currently possible in the new UI. It would likely happen through the Unified Navigation App Shell, but that is set to read-only so you can't modify it. If you've got a business case for adding more items to the menu I would put an idea in the Idea Portal and explain the business case behind it.

Interesting, especially as they seem like they want to give some options to make the nav menu customisable, as they have an option for "Unified Navigation Menu Configs" on the Application menu.
Just feel like it's odd for them to remove the functionality. One of the ways I used it before is by item on the User Menu on UI16 to navigate to a custom UI Page, which the users can use for various actions, particularly bulk actions.
