Defaulting all search functions to "contains" possible?

Currently when searching anything (in list search, list collectors in catalog items etc.) the default operator is "Starts with..".

Is it possible to change it to "Contains..", without having to put asterix in front of the search term?

In our view, that is much more intuitive way of searching.

I guess this works with text search box in the banner. But here I copy-pasted the property to the name field search box, and the operator remains "Starts with as seen in the screenshot below.

Also, list collector search is not impacted by this property.

Yes, it changes the behavior of Header search. Not column level search.

User need to use wildcards to change search behavior.
