Issue with AI Search - People seeing knowledge articles in Search to which they don't have access.

Hi,

 

We have implemented AI Search in our environment. When somebody searches for a Knowledge Article, they are able to see Knowledge Articles which they don't have access to. But when they open it, they are getting the error- "You many not have sufficient privileges to access the article". We checked the User Criteria and the user doesn't have access to it, so it is good that they are not able to open it, but they shouldn't be seeing them in the search as well.

Hi Anudeep.

 

If this is happening only for Knowledge Articles, re-indexing the Knowledge table would solve the issue.

Go to AI Search -> Indexed Sources -> Open the Knowledge Table -> Click on Index All Tables.

Wait for the Re-Indexing to complete. This should solve your issue.

@Anurag Don't you think this might occur again in the future? What do you think is the reason for this? Ideally the indexing should happen whenever there are updates to the records(knowledge in this case) right?
