contextual search in a scoped application

Hello Everyone,

 

I have this requirement that I need to fulfil in my record producer,  it needs to have a field that when keywords are written into suggestions from articles in my knowledge base strictly will come up, all of this inside my scoped application that has a special knowledge base, how would I achieve that?

Hello @Elana 

To begin with, I would recommend you to learn this out-of-the-box functionality in your PDI.

In the Record Production configurations (Table: cxs_rp_config) you can select Name as Create Incident to learn how it is configured.

Now go to Service Catalog > Can We Help You? Create Incident and in the More Information enter text like "BGP table to neighboring routers" 

You will notice the Search Results will show available related KB articles as per the Record Producer configurations. As all of this is in Global Scope, hence you need to create such in your custom scoped application:
