Does anyone know how this works or what it is meant to do?  I loaded it on or sandbox and found nothing obvious.

This plugin enables you to configure and display table and field descriptions within reports. Its primary use is for report builders and consumers to better understand what data they are working with, especially in complex environments

Once enabled, it allows administrators or report designers to:

  • Set custom descriptions for:
    • Tables
    • Fields/Columns
  •
  • Show those descriptions when a user:
    • Builds a report
    • Hovers over fields in the report builder
    • Views field/tooltips (depending on implementation)
    •

This improves data discoverability and understanding — especially when reports use custom tables or cryptic field names.
