breakdown dashboard follow element

Is there any way that anyone knows to produce a breakdown dashboard similar to the below image?
I am using Widget Type = Breakdown; Visualization=Scorecard with Follow Element selected to Selected Group. Problem is that when 'Show Indicator' is set to true the totals are the same for both the selected AND All groups as I had expected the individual (selected) totals to match the selected totals as with the simplified dataset the follow element totals are displayed

Have you tried Removing the Followed Breakdown and allow the Breakdown Source to control the visualization? It may not be needed and creating a logic issue with your Breakdown Source.

I tried that Bryan - same results unfortunately. Apparently this is working as designed - however and to much to my disappointment I would very much argue that it is not working as expected. I have recently had two separate requests from managers looking for dashboards displaying exactly this type of data broken down in this way. There are additional requirements including different visualizations (e.g. stacked bar/line charts) which I can more readily implement than this most basic requirement which frustratingly now it seems is becoming a bit of a showstopper.

Is there actually any logical way to display aggregate breakdown totals for the selected element element of a breakdown dashboard using this widget Type: breakdown Visualization:Scorecard or even any other means to this end?

On witch release are you working?

On Geneva and beyond it seems to work fine.

The totals are adjusted, when you select an element at dashboard level.

Geneva - and before that Fuji same issue (as demonstrated in the image above where you can see the Selected group totals do not add up correctly
