I'm creating series of reports based on the same table which require the same drilldown. Is there anyway to reuse the required layout or do I have to recreate each and every time?

Hi Malati,
You can use the "Insert and Stay" option to copy the same layout on the new report. Just change the name of the new report(if required) and perform Insert and Stay.

Do you mind sharing how you do this? I created a drill down on one report, 'Report details'.
Now I go to another report. How do I reference 'Report details'

We are finding that ServiceNow creates "a common" drill down between reports when the "Insert" option is used. For instance you create a report with a drill down and duplicate that report with the "Insert" option. At this point, you have two reports sharing the same drill down.
Does anyone know if this is the intended functionality? This has generated some confusion for our report authors. Please advise

At the moment of this post (2024) that is not the case. When you copy a report, the drilldowns are independent. In fact I was looking for the opposite. I want to create a drilldown that I can reference from multiple reports, so if I modify the drilldown, it will change for all the reports that use it. Currently, I can copy reports and their drilldowns, but if I decide to modify the drilldown, I have to modify the drilldowns in each report.
