Can we rename field names on a list in Platform Analytics?

Hello Everyone

Is it possible to rename the field on the display of a list? The use case I have is I am displaying a list of projects and I dot walk to percent complete of the program to display it. I also need to have percent complete field at project level. It is hard to tell which percent complete belongs to program vs project. I was wondering if we have an option to change the field display name. Your help is appreciated.

Thank you

Praveena

Hi @Hayden8 ,

thanks for confirming. As written earlier I wouldn’t believe it we’re not possible unless you create a database view, but as stated, could be a new function that I hadn’t seen.

Hi @PraveenaS ,

as far as I recall you don’t have that option in platform analytics, only when creating a database view.

Yes, you can rename field names on a list in Platform Analytics to improve clarity and consistency in your reports or dashboards. Renaming fields allows you to present data in a way that’s more meaningful to your audience, making it easier to interpret and analyze N7. This is especially useful when default field names are too technical, vague, or not aligned with your organization’s terminology.

Hi @shreeux2 ,

According to your answer I could be wrong - can you please share documentation for this, as I haven't seen this anywhere.

Can you please share a screenshot of how this is done from your PDI? I really appreciate your help.
