Only sysid showing in search of workspace reference field

Hi,

I have a reference field in workspace. When I try to search it only shows the sysid.  I have configured the list layout and  it is showing correctly in native view . How to configure it so that it shows correctly in the workspace search as well.

Also because of this when I am trying to do data import though my staging table and transform map it is not showing any result if I enter the workflow name. 

I have already added the attribute - ref_auto_completer=AJAXTableCompleter,ref_ac_columns=workflow;

that table which is being referred by that reference field has which column marked as Display=true?

Data import and the UI are 2 different things.

How are you loading data to that table? share screenshots
