Hi,
I am currently working on a Performance Analytics - CMDB Dashboard,
I have the roles of itil, asset and admin (and some more), so in general I think I should be able to do everything,
I have activated and executed the CMDB Health Dashboard Scheduled Jobs and I can see some data populated in the CMDB Dashboard.
However
as I am going through the documentation and doing some research on my developer instance I see I am missing something..
First of all I can not see on my project instance the modules under Configuration as
Configuration > CI Class Manager
Configuration > CMDB Dashboard
I am currently working on the CMDB Dashboard from Performance Analytics > Dashboards
So my question is:
Do I need some additional role or plugin to access Configuration items?
Thank You in advance!

Hi Rafal,
I believe it will depend on the version of ServiceNow you're on. Lately the CMDB Dashboard will be in its own a section with 3 views (CMDB, Service and Group view) and it will exist within the Configuration module.
Thanks,
Berny

Ah ok. Yes.
Here goes what the documentation says regards Istanbul:
Using the CMDB dashboard requires the asset or itil role, and if the system property glide.cms.enable.responsive_grid_layout exists, then it needs to be set to true. For more information, see Enable responsive dashboards.
Access the CMDB dashboard by navigating to Configuration > CMDB Dashboard > CMDB View. On the CMDB dashboard:
- Click CMDB Health Scheduled Jobs to manage the jobs that monitor and collect health data for CIs and CI relationships.
- Click the default CMDB Dashboard - CMDB View dashboard to list additional CMDB drill-in dashboards.
The CMDB dashboard has two viewing modes. Click CI Health or Relationship Health to toggle between them.
I hope this helps
Thanks,
Berny
