Hi,
I am currently working on a Performance Analytics - CMDB Dashboard,
I have the roles of itil, asset and admin (and some more), so in general I think I should be able to do everything,
I have activated and executed the CMDB Health Dashboard Scheduled Jobs and I can see some data populated in the CMDB Dashboard.
However
as I am going through the documentation and doing some research on my developer instance I see I am missing something..
First of all I can not see on my project instance the modules under Configuration as
Configuration > CI Class Manager
Configuration > CMDB Dashboard
I am currently working on the CMDB Dashboard from Performance Analytics > Dashboards
So my question is:
Do I need some additional role or plugin to access Configuration items?
Thank You in advance!

Hi Berny,
as I wrote I have the roles itil, asset and admin (and some more),
I went through the docs earlier.
From the differences between my PDI(Istanbul patch 7) and project instance (patch Istanbul patch 6a)
- the CMDB Group plugin should not have an impact here
- on PDI the Configuration > CMDB Dashboard is visible without enabling the responsive dashboards
At this moment I consider the following:
- some miss configuration / customization
- issues with the Istanbul / patch 6a
It will take a while to clarify, will keep you up to date
Thanks for the input!

Hi Rafal,
Yeah. It's possible that your team has done some configuration that could be affecting the OOB functionality. If you're not sure, you can always open a Hi ticket to have the ServiceNow support team take a look to it.
Thanks,
Berny

This configuration will be there OOB (Out of the box). As an admin you definitely should see it.
Thanks,
Berny
