Color Scheme Not Showing for Previous Months in PA Scorecards

Hi everyone,

We're currently working on a Performance Analytics (PA) dashboard and have come across an issue with the color schemes in our Indicator Scorecards.

Each Indicator has a direction, defined targets, and an associated color scheme — everything was working as expected. However, after making some recent updates by adding new targets, our customer noticed that the color scheme is no longer displaying for previous months.

Right now, the color scheme is still showing correctly for the current month, but all historical data appears without the expected colors, even though they were visible before the changes.

We’ve reviewed the configuration and tried several approaches to restore the color scheme for past periods, but so far, nothing has worked.

Has anyone experienced something similar, or does anyone have suggestions on how to bring back the historical color visualization in the Scorecards?

PS: in the current state picture may is colored in green, but its hard to see.

Check for the Start and End Date of your targets as well as Direction.

Are you working in Platform Analytics or still in Classic UI? We found when running the Migration Center in Yokohama, not only colors dropped on the migrated Dash for previous months, but they do not work even on newly built Dashboards.

It sounds like the missing colors on historical months are due to your new target values only starting from a recent date, so earlier periods don’t have any target applied to map scores against. To fix this, edit the target value(s) on your indicator and set the start date far enough back (e.g. before your earliest score) so they cover all historical periods. Also make sure the targets are not set for specific breakdowns.

Once saved, the scorecard should re-apply the color scheme across past months.
