Dashboard - Give access to edit

We have a user who created a dashboard. They are leaving, and want to give access to edit that dashboard to 2 others. When I view the dashboard and access Sharing, I see that both of these users under 'All', show 'can edit'. However, when I impersonate either user, they don't have access to edit any of the reports on the dashboard. I've even changed the Owner of the dashboard to one of these users in Dashboard Administration. How can I give edit access to these 2 users for this dashboard?

I ran into this exact issue recently. I had tried switching the dashboard owner to a few users whom I wanted to edit, validated the users were added in the sharing page with Edit access, and users had pa_viewer. Even with these validations I had no luck.

As a workaround for my users I duplicated the dashboard and made one of them dashboard owner on the new dashboard and this fixed the issue as they were now able to edit the dashboard. Other users who were also having edit issues on the original dashboard were now also able to edit the duplicated dashboard.

In my case, I made one of the users the new owner of the reports as well and it worked.
