We have created a report for metrics created on task table. We have published and shared it to end user. But he is unable to see it since he is not having access to the table. I hope metric_admin role works for it, is there any cost included in it or any better way to share the report?

On the role: metric_admin role is a global requestor role hence there is no cost involved.
You can use access control lists (ACLs) to control access to the underlying table or database view data. Further details can be found on the link below.
