Dashboard Permission Issue: You do not have access to any dashboards. For more information, contact your system administrator.

Hi,

I have created a dashboard in performance analytic, on that dashboard there is a widget created based on UI page. After linking to menu item, some of end users are not able to see the dashboard even if they present in access group. It says, "You do not have access to any dashboards. For more information, contact your system administrator."

From Dashboard Administrator, I have tried both options like, by giving role by using Everyone option. I tried using Users and Groups option, in which I added those users and groups, still it didn't work. What am I missing?

Thank you.

Regards,

Milind Wakale.

I just stumbled upon this old thread which hasn't had a correct answer yet.

As of Istanbul the permission system has changed for Responsive Dashboards, however if you upgraded it can still be impacted by your previous settings.

Please refer to this documentation.

"Dashboard permissions may also be impacted by the Restrict to role field on the dashboard properties form (can be changed by the dashboard owner, and users with pa_power _user, pa_admin, or admin roles), and by dashboard group permissions (can be changed by users with the pa_power_user, pa_admin, and admin roles)."

Very often people forget that the Restrict to Role field was set on the dashboard record, or on the dashboard group, which makes it look like sharing the dashboard isn't working.

Hi Milind,

This should be ACL issue, check the users role who are facing this issue.

check which role are they associated with.

you to create new role with READ acl permissions and assign this role to the user and check.

Thank you.

Hi Harish,

The User Groups I am adding to in the Users and Groups options, already have required roles and users are group members. Creating new roles may be good Idea, let me check it again.

You might want to try adding pa_viewer role to the users
