Data in a dashboard's report are not visible.

Hello all,

I have a dashboard that contains a report widget. This report is related to incident table.

The user has access to the dashboard, but can not see the actual data of the report.

Does the user need to have access to the incident table? If so, do I need to create an ACL read rule for incident table with the user's role?

What I am doing wrong?Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Ankur,

The post is already 2 years old, but the above link helped me solve the issue for external role. Thanks for posting.

Do you mind sharing any workaround for the another issue about the 'Group by' field in the 'Configure' section of the 'create a report' page is not getting populated with any value and come up as disabled/empty (looks like the external role user dont have access to something)?

Thanks,

Ayush

Here is my issue. The following is what I can see:

find_real_file.png

and here is what the user with snc_external role, sees:

The table that I use is the incident table. What am I doing wrong?

you have to give  table level read role to snc_external users for incident table and share the dashboard with users having snc_external  role.

Unfortunately, this approach is not working!!
