Hi.
I'm currently trying out platform analytics but have found some limitations, especially for the simple list data visualization. It seems like it's no longer possible to create a simple list visualization based on a database view? But only on a table? Or has anyone found a way to do this?
Thanks!
/Julie.

Edit: I am on Xanadu with the latest apps installed, so it could be that this has been changed between your version(s) and mine.

Thanks Jeffrey. I've also tried recreating my database view in global scope, and it didn't seem to resolve the issue - at least in Xanadu. Until then, I think I'm going to be using UI Builder to construct this dashboard.

I succeeding in using a rather unconventional method to accomplish a list view using a database view to add to a Platform Analytics dashboard.
I created a standard report outside of platform analytics and added it to an old school dashboard. I then migrated that dashboard using Migration Center. Once the dashboard and its reports were migrated I then saved that report to the analytics visualization library and shared it. It took 5 minutes vs. 2 hrs in UI Builder.
