Degraded Platform Analytics user experience with Chart Interactions in Washington

Since Washington and the move of Platform Analytics out of workspaces, the user experience of dashboards has gone significantly backwards due to a number of factors

1) Chart Interactions not opening in workspace tabs

2) Views have reverted to UI16 

3) In Washington Patch 3 all interactions open in same tab even if using CTRL+ to try and force it

 

So the question is who else is seeing this and have you come across any workarounds

As the team around Platform Analytics has often mentioned in their communications/webinars/videos: register all complaints as cases with NowSupport so they will be able to collect them and do something about them. 

From there, ServiceNow will also be able to give you any available workarounds or timelines for solutions (or, if it's not a bug, but a feature, the reasoning behind the change).

for info the reply on the Case was this is how it works by design and that's all we can say on a case. For point 3 at least this is fixed in that the latest version of the PA plugin

Hi. 
Number 1 and 2 are design decisions as support has told you. 

Number 3, I assume by control + you mean control + mouse click. Support for this was added in a store app update which delivered platform analytics 4.1. 

If you are on 4.2 (the latest version) and the control + mouse click is not working please open a case just for that issue but please make sure you upgrade both platform analytics and data visualization to the latest version first.
