Hi @Mousumi Mandal

I’m only getting this option — when I click on Export to Excel, the file gets downloaded in .xls format only.

yes, I am getting excel and then finally its downloading as .xls but I want to how .xlsx option can be added as well. As you know .xls is very old version. If you want to work further on it, that won't be compatible with many tools.
In scheduled export of report both the options are available. Due to some reason report is not enabled in our instance. So, we are manually converting files, and it is not good when it's a daily stuff

Hi @Mousumi Mandal

Agree xls is old version and adding xlxs is not easy or straightforward the reason is it is not just adding a drop down value but building a logic to convert and download the file in new format

i will say better reach out to SN support to get more clarification on this before you proceed for any customisation or technical debt

also I am not sure we can even add a drop down value like this as per platform configuration
