Export Report Widget from a Dashboard with an Interactive Filter

Hey,
I've created a report running off an interactive filter.  I need to be able to export the filtered report in some way.  However, where I would usually right click on a column header of a report to get the export to Excel option, this does not work on the dashboard widget of the report.

How can this be done?  I've attached screenshots of the right click option I get when the report is in the dashboard, and the same when it's done directly off the unfiltered source report.

What do you mean by export report? 

You should be able to export data from report only.

So without going too far into details (and hopefully this makes sense) .... I have a base report that shows all the data in a particular table.  I have created a dashboard which has that report as a widget, and an interactive filter linked to it that allows the information to be filtered in a few ways. 

This is going to be a customer-facing dashboard, so I want them to be able to use the interactive filter and export the filtered data from the report widget.  I would not expect them to be able to filter the reports themselves.  I also don't want to have to create ~40 different reports with different filter combinations just so that we can export them to Excel.

If I go into the unfiltered source report, I can right click on a column title and export as an Excel spreadsheet. 

From the dashboard I've created which has filtered results as a report widget I cannot do the same thing.

I also have the same problem. My customer needs to be able to filter a report on a dashboard using an interactive filter and then export that whole report to excel without having to click into the drill down. How do I do this?

Hey, I think since I posted this ServiceNow have fixed it.  It might have been with the Rome release.  For at least six months we have been able to export from reports that are using an interactive filter.
