Hi,
I'm seeking assistance to export ticket information into a PDF file for local storage. The perfect approach would be to convert the activity log data into a neat PDF format that can be downloaded and accessed outside of ServiceNow. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Below is the information that I would like to capture.
- The form details
- The workflow details with timestamps
- Email notifications text
- The attachments
- Action items details, workflow, attachments – same as the parent ticket info
- Mark as New
- Bookmark
- Subscribe
- Mute
- Subscribe to RSS Feed

Hi @BK22 ,
Word from ServiceNow support is that Activity entries are not captured in Export to PDF, they have a problem open for this. A workaround is to use the "Print Friendly Version" button and print to pdf. Note, Chrome has built in functionality to do this, otherwise you may have to install an app like win2pff

Do you know of a way to save this print to PDF locally and keep its integrity? I ask because when you attempt to save the file it's set as a .htm file that's not formated.
